Coping with UC
Posted: Jan 28, 2010

 Hello all,

I have been living with UC for the past 12 years.  IBD is a family thing plaguing my brother, grandmother and an aunt. I have made various diet restrictions like cutting out caffeine and no nuts. I wondered if there were any special diets that would help with a flare? Meds dont seem to be helping. Anyway, its a constant battle. I know that stress is the enemy. Controlling stress in and of itself is a challenge. I decided that I need a support group. I hope I can find one in the Dallas area. One source of stress is that I have been undergoing marital problems much like what Elizabeth Edwards is enduring. So, I'm looking for ways to cope. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks,

citygirl
