My life story
Posted: Mar 6, 2010

I had stomach problems since I was in my teens. The pains wasnt that bad. But after my 26 birthday I had these real serve pains in my stomach. First I thought I was constipated then after taking gas-x and all these other over the counter medicine the pain was so bad I couldnt take it. I went to 2 different hospitals they gave me pain medicine and sent me home. The last time I went to the emergency room and I ask the doctor was there any test I can take to make sure I dont have stomach problems. That day I took a cat scan and then I went to see a specialist. Then they diagnosed me with Chrons disease.

Once I started taking the treatment I never felt better. Then a year later I found out I was three months pregnant. My doctor was telling me it wasnt a good time to have a baby. He told me to wait until I had no flare-ups in a year. It was to late I wasnt thinking about an abortion. I told him I would see this pregnancy through. I was doing fine until I turned 22 weeks I started getting bad pains in a day or two the pains was so bad I couldnt walk. I couldnt turn over in the bed. I couldnt move my bowels. But no way would I end the pregnancy. I went to the emergency room and they admitted me in the hospital. It wasnt nothing they could give me. Only thing they gave me was morphine and fluids. I was in so much pain I felt like I was in labor. To make a long story short the next morning I was 5 cm at 22 weeks and 5 days. My baby was born 10-16-2009. But he didnt make it. Due to the Chrons disease they dont know what happened during the pregnancy. But since I lost my baby I havent have a flare-up since.
