Coping with Moderate symptoms

My name is Rachel and I have mild to moderate Crohn's Disease.  I had the opportunity to be part of a clinical trial and got screened out.  The up shot of that was that I just had a colonoscopy by someone other than my regular doctor and got screened out of the study.  I was disappointed but accepting. I promised myself that I would be that way in case of disappointment.  I am in clinical remission; no evidence of disease, digestive tract smooth and pink as a baby's, but I am not happy.  I have not achieved symptomatic remission and never have.  I have had this disease for 20 years and the symptoms have not changed for the better in that entire time.
